Mindgruve is a leading digital media agency located in downtown San Diego in a loft-style, open workspace environment that promotes new ideas and empowers its employees to spearhead innovative, quality work that gets results for clients.

We are seeking a Project Manager who will be responsible for day-to-day operational workflow of projects as well as translating vision, strategy and business process into a conceptual solution and implementation plan. We want this person to be adept in multitasking, and possess a background in managing workflow, timelines and budgets.

This position will work side-by-side with account managers and other department heads to create and uphold agency processes as they relate to the client and agency.

We need a person with:

3-5 years experience in project management in ad agency, digital media
Experience and proven track record for success in web and/or software project management
Organizational skills and strong attention to detail
Excellent time management skills
Clear understanding of the steps necessary to successfully execute a project
Experience with Workamajig or other time/project management programs a plus
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and independently
Clear and detailed communication skills for clients, vendors, contractors and internal teams
Strong writing skills

What you’ll do here:

Work with the Account Director and other account managers to streamline processes, timelines and production time to execute client deliverables
Manage project timelines for software projects, delivering each piece on time and on budget
Develop and track budgets for new and existing clients
Spearhead project data input for new projects
Liaise with outside vendors if needed by client(s)
Work with design, development, content and social media teams to ensure smooth workflow
Regularly update internal management with status and budget reports on open projects

Mindgruve is Hiring: Full-Time Account Manager

We are seeking an Account Manager to serve and exceed our clients business and marketing objectives. The Account Manager will manage coordination, development, presentation and implementation to ensure the proposed strategic and creative concepts can be produced and executed within client-specified time frames and budgets. The Account Manager must be comfortable authoring client proposals and continually managing client expectations, project timelines, deliverables and budgets.

We want a person who will take challenges head-on and uphold Mindgruve’s creative and quality standards at all times. And, if you want to work with us, it’s critical that you stay ahead of digital industry trends and integrate them into agency protocol as necessary.

We need a person with:

3-5 years of work experience in account management role in an ad agency or digital media, with a track record of increasing responsibility and account growth
Experience with Workamajig or other time/project management programs a plus
Experience authoring client proposals, including resource allocation needs
Strong organizational skills
Comfort working with individuals in all levels of the client organization, including strong skills interacting with senior-level management
Experience in effectively managing cross-functional teams, including creative, technical and strategic resources for website development and online marketing campaigns
Familiarity with creative and strategic process, traditional media, web development life cycles, social media, email marketing and online campaigns
Comfort in assisting and developing scope of work, estimates and timelines for new business opportunities
Clear and detailed communication skills for clients, vendors, contractors and internal teams
Strong written communication skills

What you’ll do here:

Efficiently collect, organize, create and present project briefs for internal teams reference
Assess client objectives and goals to provide clear, concise direction to internal teams regarding strategic interactive marketing goals throughout project lifecycle
Support the Account Director and sales team in researching and developing proposals for new business
Lead the development and completion of RFPs, estimates and scope of work documents
Be the main point of contact for clients, ensuring that their needs and desires are accurately relayed to internal teams
Educate clients on new techniques, strategies and opportunities to improve their marketing
Stand behind and help present company work in client meetings

We’re seeking a highly creative, detail-oriented designer with web/interactive design skills to serve as a User Interface Web Designer. The ideal candidate will be comfortable and adept at self-management, possess strong creative concepting skills, have experience in all major design platforms, have interactive agency experience or similar, and is looking for a long-term, prosperous and challenging career.

We need a person with:

2-4 years experience in a digital and/or design agency (DOES NOT include internships)
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field
Familiar with HTML and CSS
Proficient in project/client discovery, developing web strategies and wireframes
Experience designing for web and mobile applications
Extensive skills in and control of the following applications: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, iWorks
Experience in UX design
Strong attention to detail and organized, production-ready file structure
High comfort level in presenting in a client setting
Ability to work autonomously or in a team setting
Strong work ethic
Experience and comfort with Macs and iWorks package

What you’ll do here:

Produce user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and final graphics
Follow brand guidelines as well as create new online brand guidelines and style sheets
Perform metrics analysis to inform design/UX optimization
Present creative exploration internally and to clients
