<p><strong>SAN DIEGO, CA – September 26, 2011 –</strong> Veterinary leader, Dr. John Boyd partnered with Mindgruve, a San Diego-based digital media firm, in 2010 to begin work on his latest project: a convenient and affordable pet care resort for dogs and cats. Mindgruve’s branding and digital expertise pioneered the creation of a direct, yet impactful logo and website for his business to thrive upon.</p>
<p>“My vision of a unique, knowledgeable and all-inclusively priced pet care resort designed for the nature of dogs was achieved thanks to Mindgruve’s extensive experience and services. They helped us articulate our brand concept into a message that our customers can really get on board with,” comments Dr. Boyd himself.<br />

<p>Dr. Boyd’s Pet Resort is the first of its kind in the pet care industry with a habitat environment and services that truly cater to pets. Thus, Dr. Boyd’s plans to cater to owners by implementing a booking bot on the website so that they can conveniently make reservations online. This key feature will differentiate the resort even more since none of its competitors offer it.</p>
<p>Besides standing out from the competition, the client’s priority for the brand was to portray friendliness and convenience, while providing in-depth knowledge and care. Dr. Boyd’s credibility and services also inspired the final logo. Furthermore, Mindgruve translated the client’s goals onto the website by emulating the fun nature of pets and summarizing the brand message through bold design and engaging content.</p>

<p><strong>Mindgruve and The Chickasaw Nation partner to develop a brand refresh for casino traditional and mobile websites.</strong></p>
<p><strong>SAN DIEGO, CA – September 23, 2011 –</strong> In June 2011, Mindgruve, a San Diego-based digital media firm, partnered with The Chickasaw Nation, an American Indian Nation in Oklahoma, to implement a brand refresh and develop a series of Casino web and mobile sites. The project requires Mindgruve to bring their expertise to produce strategy, design, and development of user facing, front end websites that allow each separately branded casino to convey it’s own unique look and feel.</p>
<p>To meet Chickasaw’s need to brand all of the casinos together and individually, Mindgruve will build a single enterprise level CMS architecture that will be shared amongst all of the traditional web and mobile sites, but still allow them to each be customized to tailor to the needs of each specific casino. The technology has shown to be robust, yet agile and easy to maintain. It is also very scalable to accommodate future growth for The Chickasaw Nation’s many gaming facilities which includes one of the largest casinos in the world.<br />

The first 5 Casino websites to be designed include Riverwind, WinStar, Newcastle, Treasure Valley, and Chisholm Trail.</p>
<p>Also important to Chickasaw are user-friendly, fully functioning websites, so the design and development teams at Mindgruve will optimize each website for speed, search engines, and other advanced searching techniques. These elements will be built into the construction from the ground up.</p>
<p>The websites are expected to launch in early 2012. Beyond that, Mindgruve looks forward to developing the rest of the casino websites to continue to elevate the Chickasaw brand.</p>

<p><strong>SAN DIEGO, CA – July 14, 2011 –</strong> In September 2010, Visit Carlsbad, the Destination Marketing Organization for Carlsbad and San Diego based digital media firm <a href="http://www.mindgruve.com/">Mindgruve</a>, set out to create beneficial content and exclusive vacation deals for locals and visitors to Carlsbad, California. Together, they have provided a great service and 30,000 people have ‘liked’ their Facebook Page within months, demonstrating the value provided to this online community.</p>
<p>Visit Carlsbad set out to offer engaging content and value. Initially, Mindgruve rose to the challenge and created the <a href="http://www.facebook.com/CarlsbadCA">Visit Carlsbad Facebook Page</a> to serve as a hub to find community event information, hotel deals, attraction updates and restaurant recommendations. Beyond simply bringing this all to one place, this page also rewarded its visitors with exclusive vacation deals.<br />

As the project moved along, Mindgruve improved the user experience even more by adding the “Book a Stay” tab to the page. This enhanced the engagement because it evolved the page from only giving information and deals to also allowing visitors to actually book accommodations right on the Facebook Page.</p>

<p><strong>Mindgruve makes San Diego Ad Club’s Interactive Day website interactive!</strong></p>
<p><strong>SAN DIEGO, CA – March 31, 2011 –</strong> Mindgruve, a San Diego-based digital media firm and proud sponsor of IDSD 2011, took the lead in redesigning this year’s IDSD website. Incorporating new user trends, creative web design techniques and pure awesomeness, Mindgruve’s redesign strategy challenges outdated functionality and embraces new hardware technology while pushing the limits of the interactive web experience geared toward event attendees.</p>
<p>Aimed at keeping the site’s key content on one scrollable page, while also working toward conversions and high-level content clicks, an intuitive, yet unexpected “funnel” approach was implemented in the redesign. Clean web design trends and user needs were kept in mind by focusing the creative on a casual, spontaneous and edgy illustrative look that delivers the information in an entertaining way without overwhelming the user.<br />

Using only jQuery 1.5, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, @font-face technology and absolutely no flash, the most clever thing a user will experience is the interactive animation and contrasting rollovers that send users the main call to action in stages; “Save the Date” rolls into “Register Now” as the event date approaches. Additionally, the user can scroll the page at their leisure or be taken to the four key areas &#8211; Register, Speakers, Schedule and Become a Sponsor.</p>
<p>Mindgruve takes it one step further for those using mobile devices. To reflect the conference theme (which is interactivity &#8211; just in case anyone was confused), the mobile site will encourage smart phone users to stay connected and engaged during IDSD with real-time tweets, likes, comments, directions, session schedule and more, making it a truly interactive experience.</p>
<p>Less than a month after launch, the site is already gaining recognition as users tweet and comment on the great use of HTML5 and web design. Mindgruve CEO, Chad Robley, states “This project pushed Mindgruve’s ingenuity and the limits of creativity. It’s one of our best works yet!”</p>
