Mindgruve is a leading digital media agency located in downtown San Diego in a loft-style, open workspace environment that promotes new ideas and empowers its employees to spearhead innovative, quality work that gets results for clients.

We’re seeking an experienced Online Media Buyer to work within our media team and provide our clients with effective online campaigns. This position will assist the Media Director in buying media and executing the media strategy.

We need a person with:

• 3-5 years of online media experience
• Background with digital agency
• Bachelors degree (preferred)
• Exceptional organizational skills as well as acute attention to detail
• Strong negotiating skills specifically with media buys and contracts
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with management and peers
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing tasks as needed
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

What you’ll do here:

• Assist the media team in executing online media strategies and optimizing digital media buys
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive business solutions and strategies as they pertain to online media
• Plan highly effective online ad campaign placement strategy to drive web traffic
• Prospect new media outlets, vendors and partners
• Identify and maintain relationships with media publishers and partners, regularly communicating with vendors regarding new campaign announcements, updates/changes, optimizations, and cancellations of existing campaigns
• Easily integrate new tools, applications and methods into strategies to meet client  goals
• Adhere to agency policies and procedures to ensure quality assurance across all projects
• Create media plans and proposals for our clients

Compensation commensurate with experience. This is an in-house position. No headhunters, contractors, freelancers, overseas agents, or professional job hoppers will be considered.
